Versions 5.0 & 5.5 of Internet Explorer/Outlook Express are known to be vulnerable to certain viruses such as Klez which can infect your computer just by viewing an email message sent by an infected computer. It is not known whether version 4.0 has this vulnerability.

To protect your computer, it is recommended that you first check to see what version of Internet Explorer is installed. To check the version, open Internet Explorer, click the "Help" menu and choose "About Internet Explorer".

If you have any version other than 6.0, you will need to upgrade. Windows 98 or higher is required for version 6.0. Click on the link below to upgrade:
